Job Description:

*This position can be based in any of our Texas offices.

As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:

-Working on transportation systems planning, travel demand forecasting, traffic analysis, traffic engineering, and transportation policy.

-Performing as a subject matter expert, planning and developing projects concerned with unique or controversial problems, which have an important effect on major CDM Smith programs.

-Devising new approaches to problems encountered and coordinating various technical aspects of work.

-Serving as a mentor for junior level employees and acting as a recognized leader of technical and professional staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

A successful CDM Smith candidate will have:

-B.S. in engineering.

-10 + years of previous experience (since Bachelor's degree) to include work with traffic operations, managed lanes concept development, corridor planning and environmental process exposure.

-Ability to develop concept/schematics.

-Knowledge TP&P/TxDOT processes.

-Registration as P.E.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

-AICP and/or PTOE a plus.

-California experience a plus.
