Job Description:

Job Objective:

Provides overall administrative and technical management, from bid preparation to

project completion, on projects with revenue $50+ million annually as applicable to market/region.

Collaborates with Client Service Groups to develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.

Primary Responsibilities

*Leading staff development

*Provide training, support, guidance, and assistance in goal setting

*Act as mentor

*Provide guidance to lower level project managers to meet project performance goals

*Overall contract authority over vendors and subcontractors

*Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on‐site management and/or lower level project managers

*Manage design team during initial design phase; identify design problems and recommend improvements

*Investigate potentially serious situations; implement corrective measures

*Oversee management of financial aspects of projects

*Adherence to budget as work progresses

*Major contract, subcontract, claim negotiations, etc.

*Identify, estimate, quote and negotiate changes to contract

*Review project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards

*Develop or oversee development of proposals

*Review complete estimate for project

*Develop/manage relationships with existing and prospective clients

*Initiate new project development opportunities

Maintain continual open communications with clients

*Represent company in project meetings

*Provide support to Executive Management upon request. Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or Project Management Professional certification with 20 years' relevant experience or minimum 25 years' relevant construction experience in lieu of degree.

Experience: Extensive knowledge of industry practices, processes, design, finance, and management;

Thorough knowledge of company policies, procedures, and standards; Able to communicate complex concepts, business unit/corporate vision and strategy to colleagues and clients; performs active

listening;

Proficient personal computer skills including current administrative, financial, and scheduling software or similar products;

Demonstrates an understanding of how business works and a keenness and depth of perception in practical matters of financial and behavioral tendencies to enable good, quick business decisions with an appreciation of their impact.
