Job Description:

The successful candidate will work in applying geotechnical engineering techniques, procedures, and principles on a variety of civil engineering projects including transportation, water, wastewater, and hazardous waste projects. Must have solid understanding of soil mechanics, shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, earth structures, earth pressures, instrumentation, construction monitoring, and soils laboratory testing.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering required. Position requires registration as an Engineer-in-Training, or ability to obtain an EIT within 18 months of hire. Knowledge of commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, AutoCAD) expected. Candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills.
